The amount you will receive in Retirement will depend on the final value of your pension fund and this will depend mainly on how much has been paid in, how much has been deducted in charges and how well the fund’s investments have performed.

If your employer offers a company pension scheme or you have been ‘Automatically Enrolled’ into a workplace pension arrangement then a personal pension scheme may not be the best fit for you.

FAQs

If I never use my pension, is my money protected for my family?

If you have a personal pension, and you’re less than 75 years old then in the event of your death your pension will be returned to your family tax free. After 75 it’ll be taxed at normal rate.

How do I arrange a spouse's/partner's income?

We would insure that a dependents pension or a refund of fund is discussed and included in your plan.

How much will I have to pay into my pension each month?

We will sit with you to establish an income requirement at retirement, which would allow us to provide and indicative figure of what is needed to meet that objective

What will I receive in retirement for this money?

Depending on charges, performance, interest and inflation rates. These are all factors an advisor will explain, so you can choose the best package to suit your objectives.

What Pension Company is right for me and why?

By deciding on your own objectives for your pension, we as advisors will be able to source the best pension for you.

Where and How is my money invested?

Attitude to risk and capacity for loss. We will identify appropriate products for you and arrange accordingly.

How good are the Providers service levels?

We ensure that all providers we recommend and 5 star or equivalent.

What are the charges and how are they applied?

There are setting up costs and ongoing management charges. These are all explained befor e you commit to signing up for any product.

I have multiple pensions, should I consolidate them into one?

Only if it benefits your finances, often it can be best to keep 2-3 accounts because they have a low charge to run and perform well.
